CHSG Manpower is the private membership-management platform of the Catholic High Scout Group. Our leaders and members use it to keep track of who is in the Group, plan leadership appointments, and manage progress towards scouting awards.
What the app does
Member directory
A searchable roster of the Group's members with headshots, cohort year, training stage and unit, so leaders can identify and organise members.
Leadership-selection charts
Planning boards used by leaders to propose, review and record appointments and patrol leadership for each cohort.
Award planning
Tracks each member's progress towards scouting awards and helps leaders plan the requirements still outstanding.
Member self-service
Every member can sign in to view and check their own core information — photo, name, email, cohort, stage and units.
Who can use it
CHSG Manpower is not a public service. It is an internal tool for the Catholic High Scout Group. Accounts are granted only to members, leaders and helpers who are approved by the Scout Group leadership; there is no self-service sign-up, and access to information within the app is restricted by role and seniority.
Why the app asks you to sign in with Google
Sign-in uses your Google Account so that the Group does not have to create or store separate passwords. When you sign in, the app requests only your basic Google profile information:
- Your email address — to match you to your member record and confirm your access has been approved by a leader.
- Your basic profile (name and profile picture) — to show who is signed in.
The app does not request access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts or any other Google data. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising. Full details are set out in our Privacy Policy.
Sign in
If you are a member, leader or helper of the Catholic High Scout Group, you can sign in here. If your account has not yet been approved, a leader will need to approve it first.
Go to CHSG Manpower →Access is by leader approval. Signing in does not automatically grant access.
